Greg, thanks for the post and commentary on Orcl.

PS. While I'm 'here,' there I am, Tues. night reading your board, trying to catch up as is often the case and I read your post on Ntap and I'm thinking, "there I am as usual, a day late and a dollar ..." Except I wasn't short!!! Long, having mixed feelings about Ntap short term (have some long term hold, period), was waiting to see about trading a little, buying in some more at a lower price; a recent report suggested they are fine (can't recall where I saw that) so I relaxed and decided no problem needing to sell now. Bingo, there you are, Mon. night, (I had looked at the chart by the way, last week, still learning and not trusting my eyes). Nice call, again.

Re Orcl - would you describe the chart pattern as a "rising pennant?"

I ask because I have seen a few other stocks that may be forming similar patterns in the last week. Some rising, some falling, but all possible pennants. Another, not sure, is Amcc. Could this be a rising pennant?

Is Amcc an unusually "gappy" stock? Does that signify anything important?

Thanks again for your very helpful commentaries.
