Interesting view but as you pointed out a little biased. Some of the points made - although valid - are misguided by a lack of understanding of communications. Also, as bambs and I chatted about months ago I think there is a lack of understanding as to how individuals investment patterns have changed. People no longer rely on social security for retirement and they also no longer rely on savings accounts that are measely... they are investing in equities and so there is a market with supply and demand attributes that exists in the equity markets that has never existed in the past. One should expect higher PE ratios that we have historically had - simply due to the greater number of investment dollars. I think bears would call this the "great fool theory". However, future retiree's know that long term their money is better off in equities.

I love the guy suggesting he is laughing at the bulls that have had a 10 year run and suggesting that they've lost everything. That is ludicrous. I think his postulate that we have been in a recession since 1996 is unsupportable with even one peice of evidence.

I think he doesn't have a clue about communications infrastructure - it's complexities - it's world wide impact - or how it is being used.
