Ike,

You just keep my brain crankin' all day that is why I'm here! 401K HA HA HA if you think I'd allow monkeys in New York throwing darts at a wallstreet journal; control my retirement... that is the funniest thing I've heard in a while, thanks for the good hardy "Belly Laugh"!

My retirement is simple. Real Estate. The U.S. best tax shelter. My philosophy is Buy, Buy, Buy, and NEVER SELL! The real estate that CIEN PSIX BRCD BRCM shorts has financed is my 401K, good cash flows, depreciation expense, interest expense, property tax deduction, and on, and on!

What we're doing here is turning an ocean liner, and thusly contradiction will occur. But fact remains from my previous "BULL TRAP" post Bulls are trapped on COMPX at 3026. The fact that a 1/2% rate cut didn't help is scarey! strike 1, last quater slow down strike 2, your guess is as good as mine as to what strike 3 will be, but I see the bull trap holding firm at least through April 01!

Keep in mind that those 4th quarter 401K statements are in the mail! I'm sure that guy that had 35% of his retirement fund wiped out, is going to run straight to his broker with his Income Tax Refund! NOT!

Ike,

on NOK I've never had a position in it, stocks or options. I only posted link for info. But, a while back when you started tracking it, I started hearing a lot of radio commercials for Nokia. How many of the units that were sold were "Give Aways"? They sell those phones with a rebate, so that they cost nothing. Then you purchase a card that is inserted into the phone that gives it call minutes. The attraction with this is that they require no credit checks, as with my phone, nextel.

Where is the sustained growth with this plan? Do they have their own network or do they lease minutes from other carriers?

Also their was an article in Baltimore Sun Paper regarding this approach to communications. The fact that no ID is required to obtain these phones, It has been a Coup for the illegal drug industry. There is no way to track communication from the unit involved in an illegal drug conversation. A congressman is proposing legislation to stop this type of phone sale in Maryland.

My business is in a very bad drug infested area of Baltimore City, and man you should see the conversations taking place on the "Pretty Colored" Nokia Phones! on any given day I could count 50-60 of these phones, and now I know why their so popular... all cash business, cash for phone, cash for call minute card, and no identity trail! A Drug Dealers Dream Come TRUE!

What Happens to NOK if this legislation gets off ground, and would start taking hold in other States?
