McNealy bets the company everyday going up against IBM, Intel, HP, SGI, Compaq and others. That takes guts." I agree. McNealy has taken an idea and parlayed it into a tremendously successful company - even though his (Sun's) products are marginal at best. His brash public posture has - until recently - hidden the inner troubles at Sun. But the Sun clock has ticked too many times - and McNealy's Reality Distortion field is starting to dissipate. Paul
