Glenn, has Kiggen ever returned your call? LOL.

He has not returned my call. I am still waiting. I find that to be terrible manners and it reflects on his charater in my opinion.

AMZN increased its cash position by almost $200 million during the quarter, ending with approximately $1.1 billion in cash and marketable securities, up from $900 million in the third quarter, with $35-40 million of that balance coming in the form of equity stakes in partners like Webvan and Sotheby's. This latter sum was down from $95 million in the third quarter.

The $1.1 billion is a meaningless number without knowing the accounts payable. I believe that reflects on his character too. I find it hard to believe he does not know the significance of the missing accounts payable number. If he does not know the significance, then he is not qualified to be a fiancial analyst of any kind in my opinion.
