Yea, my rule of thumb indicator is Analysts...BTW a have my own collection of Assholes...but anyway, look at the activity on Yahoo! and the Analysts.

The last 12 recs have been downgrades, after the company lost 75% to 90% of it's market cap. Not before, after.

The rule of thumb analyst rule is my adoption of the 80/20 rule on being right.

ie..if they were all upgrades, there would be a bunch of bottom left for that stock and this sector. But the rule of thumb 80/20 rule of analyst calls; tells me that 80% of them downgrades are wrongly timed.

I wish I was in your shoes, having enough money for a down payment on a new home as well as being confident enough to be buying for the last month. I can't help to approach the markets with a large amount of trepidation
