There's a war brewing in Houston over the replacement of Dr. Rod Paige. LULAC and the Hispanic community are up in arms about having a Hispanic become the next superintendent because there hasn't ever been one. They've asked and are receiving help from the Justice Department in this matter. The Black Caucus in Houston is pissing mad because they say race shouldn't place a part in picking the new super, the person picked should just be good at the job and the board is going to pick anyone they want period. Funny, that wasn't the tune being sung just before Dr. Paige was elected. PB
