Linda Chavez did the right thing by withdrawing. Otherwise, Bush Jr. would have come down on her heavily. I think she was under the influence of something when she did not divulge info to FBI.

Nice to see a dent in Bush Jr's arrogance!!

Given the information that is known, I agree. I think that it has not been adequately demonstrated that there was a violation of the law. Sure does not "Rise to the level" in my mind. Also, as I understand it, there are humanitarian exeptions to immigration laws that are on point.

But, more to the political point, I think it would have been hard to derail her, had she just left it with the real faces she displayed to the public yesterday.

Dems displayed strident meanness. Not a surprise.
