Oh, a lot of the data was circulated after E.J.Dionne made a gaffe in the Washington Post a few years ago, claiming the opposite. I do not have the particular articles at hand, but yes, the sociological data on Evangelicals puts them ahead of the average American in terms of education and financial success. There are also reports that they have a better sex life than most Americans, but that is self- reporting, and therefore more difficult to judge.<g>
