I think it has to do with the fact that some of us have been all too exposed to other points of view- over and over and over and over. And often the points of view are riddled with pretty disgusting commentary that makes it fairly rank reading matter for anyone not already of the persuasion. I think this can be said of both left and right- though on SI I've seen a lot more right. And I'm sick of it. Nothing new, just the same old gunkus. Who needs it?
