5dave, Eli basically reiterates the 'demand will outpace supply' mantra. PARAPHRASING the best exchange: Q: What do you say to those saying there's going to be 'price pressure' on flash memory? A: Flash memory IS too expensive, we're working to bring costs and pricing down, pricing HAS to come down by a factor of 5 to 10 in the future, that's what we're working toward. Q: So you've built this into the business model (sounded incredulous)? A: (smiling) Yes, that's the whole game, consumer electronics is price elastic... He really tried to hammer home that all the suppliers put together will be hard pressed to keep up with what will likely be exploding demand.
