Patience I'm lacking. I admire your willingness to interact with both sides and to be a voice of reason. Are you banned over there? i am not particularly patient myself. except, when i get something in my head, i am very persistent and quickly learn what i need to do in order to obtain what i want. in this instance, i was ready to go to the RWT and request to GZ the apology i was after. i failed, however, i learned to shut off my ears and mind to the rubbish those guys throw at you. for years i have been dealing with this scumbags, and as i said i quickly learn that they do not deal a clean hand. they give you the impression they want to reason with you, but in reality all they are doing is measuring you to see where and how can they attack you. they are not "listening" to you. then they twist your words (at lest they try). and it goes on. as i ssaid they do NOT deal with good will. i do NOT trust them. in other words, they are not sincere. take the example of GZ he announces his joy ride, goes to the LWP and starts "reasonably" throwing bombs. knowing FULL WELL that the the thread over there is NOT for that purpose, and his "announcement" discredits his entire enterprise. then when he obtains EXACTLY what he came for...(i.e. a reaction to his provocation), he plays "hurt". please give me a break who do these idiots think other people are ? as stupid as they are ? no, i do not think so. at this point, i have reached the conclusion that "reasoning" with the right-wingers is an oxymoron, so i do not even try it, unless as i said, i have a specific purpose that suits what i want. the day that these people learn to deal with anything that is "different" than them, i will give them another try. but don't hold your breath. that is NOT going to happen. "Designated Free Speech Zone." Whaddya think? i like that name. however put a disclaimer since at times, the border line between the right to "free speech" and the "right to privacy" always gets overlaped. so if someone gets out of hand... zap them (i do not know if that can be chaqnged at this time) an example... take "prayer in school" i do not object to religious people to pray in their churches, in their homes, or in their heads. the key component is THEIRS. school is a different place... since it is OURS ... yours, mine, hers, his, theirs... etc.... so.... if I do not want to listen to THEIR prayers... why in hell should i listen to it ? why should i HAVE to listen to the damned chanting. am i going to listen to WHICH prayer? the jewish one... the muslim one... the budhist one.. the church of the sacred owl one... probably NOT, in all probability is going to be some christian prayer. and if so... will i have to listen to the rest of the other prayers ? in that case, i guess i will have to organize my own church in which it will clearly be stated that anyone who prays, or listens to other prayers, (in my religion), forever will burn in hell. how ridiculous... but the possibility certainly opens if they start with the one prayer. well... guess what.. i do not want to listen to ANY of them how hard is that to understand ??? anyway... it was just a thought about being careful that this place... in the name of "freee speech" does not get run over by a bunch of chanting zealots arguing over the protests of a few. think in terms... of... what is the population profile of SI... this is the reason why i have thought that Poet had a brilliant idea. and better yet, it flies in the face of the right wingers, because it is like a sanctuary where these guys can not forced their smelly boots into. what ? are we expecting a ride of the bible brigade next ? with saergent Jesus C. Wacko as leader ? they tried their military expert and got caught in the opening salvo... then they got all peeved and "hurt" what rubbish... actually, their cries of "foul" made me think of that old woman who got burned with hot coffee at McDonalds and wanted to sue MC for several gazillion of dollars. same bs. different set of whiny people. The religious right is particularly scary to me. of course, give them slack and we will be back to the thirteen century burning witches and hanging people just because you do not want to chant to some god who no one has seen. trating women like second class citizens (if they are lucky) and they consider lunatics those who have seen UFO's !!! at lest the UFO'ies do not want to burn you because you do not believe them. talk about the "X" files.
