There should be nothing wrong with China, and other 3rd world countries being left in the state they are in, they should not be forced by the IMF WOrld Bank crowd o modernize, and in the process of that materialism, to lose or be forced to cast away their culture. That is what the WAR by the Afghan rebels was about as they destroyed the glue that held the soviet union together. That is also what the WAR was with the Islamic Fundamentalists is all about in Iran, and even in the rest of the Middle East. I say let them live in the 5th century or what we call a feudal or dark age standard of living, so too, the now independent eskimo tribes that recently broke free from Canada, and the aboriginees in Australia, and so too the Communist Chinese. Why pay them 12 cents and hour slave wages, FORCING them to compete with and destroy the fabric of our technically talented workforce just because it is unionized and unpopular with brute force capitalism of some unenlightened management perspectives. Besides, at 12 cens and hour, even with credit, they will not be selling many autos, computers or cellphoine out there in those rice paddys or industrial ghetto "FREE TRADE ZONES". No, I still contend that SLAVERY ANYWHERE IS SLAVERY EVERYWHERE. Lets base our free enterprise on just that, FREEDOM and ENTERPRISE, and that is our culture, and we should cultivate that, and then live within the mathematical formulas and yes, the much higher standard of living, OUR MATERIALISM, and not FORCING other cultures to "SHARE" what we call WEALTH just to please the one size fits all narrow minds at the old banker meetings, like Al and his Fed Pals. I guess that makes me an odd republican PROGRESSIVE, but I blame that on my Christian and European heritage that fights extremes from both the right but espcially the all pervasive left, that don't even know they are far left. If that makes me a Green, then they are okay. I guess I like a clean environment, and its CHEAPER to keep it pure, than to clean it up later.
