The company has already invested more than dlrs 1.6 billion (6 billion ringgit) in Malaysia in oil marketing, chemicals, exploration and solar energy, the report said.

The company is also working on a dlrs 150 million (570 million ringgit) trimellitic anhydride plant in Kuantan, in Malaysia's central Pahang state, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2002, the report said.
