Actually, Clinton probably would welcome a D.C. jury trial. More theatrics than the O.J. fiasco, with the outcome preordained before the first juror was seated. (I think DC voted about 98% for Gore). The trial would dominate the news and national attention for months, and he'd wind up a martyr and national hero.
