Why is everyone so upset about Socks? There's hardly room in the retirement budget for a cat poop scooper. The poor Clintons have to eat and sell books and make speeches. A pet cat would be such an annoyance without a White House staffer. Besides, do you know how much cat litter costs? The damn cat has outlived it's usefulness now that there is no need for a "First Cat". What they should do is set up a fund for citizen donations to have a taxidermist freeze dry it so that Billary could set up a special viewing room in the Clinton Presidential Library (with a toll booth, of course). BTW, how do you catalog and display all the tons of shredded documents those two have accumulated? Maybe create an indoor beach with a cabana for Bill to do the intern thing with daughters of the Senate Spouses Club (the spouses themselves are too old for him). GWB should use Pat Buchanan's idea from the campaign. As soon as GWB finishes the oath, he should turn to Bill and say, "You have the right to remain silent ..."
