Third Semi-annual Gemstar Poll

It's been fascinating for many of us to see if there is a consensus in our thread about whether or not Gemstar is a Gorilla. Two polls were conducted on 12/21/99 and 5/21/00, exactly five months apart. This time around we'll end the poll on 1/21/01, exactly eight months later than our last poll.

Using one of the three choices below, please respond to me by PM so we don't clutter the thread:

1) Gemstar is a Gorilla;
2) Gemstar is not a Gorilla; or
3) I am undecided about whether or not Gemstar is a Gorilla.

Please be very, very clear about using one of those three choices. If your ballot isn't perfectly clear -- well, let's not go there since we're not into dimpled chads around here :) -- I'll have to waste your and my time by asking you to clarify your response by limiting it to one of those three.

Thanks for your participation and cooperation!

>> you'll never get me to agree that Gemstar is a Gorilla considering that it's never gone through a tornado.

The idea is to decide if it is a legitimate Gorilla candidate.
