<<Fiber Optics products don't carry such a high gross margin percentage, do they?>> Did you see the numbers from those foils in yesterday's presentation? 40Gbps Modulator's using conventional technology are expected to sell for $10,000+ (foil #16) Using KVHI's new photonic fiber approach, they will be less expensive by an "order of magnitude". (foil #18) That's 10 times lower! Now, I think they should be able to price for very high margins and still blow out the competition with that kind of a price advantage. Martin also indicated that their products will address 33% of a $23 Billion market by 2003 ($17 Billion in 2002). (slides #12 and #13)
