michael, RE: And Regarding tucker comments about analysts, i have learned that their advice is just as questionable on the way up as well. There may be a few good ones out there but it is a futile effort in identifying them. Note that I didn't say anything about the quality of the opinions, just the intent. There have been numerous studies on the quality of an analyst's opinion. In the end, Wall Street analysts are not good or bad indicators. The only exception is that when an analyst at a firm downgrades a company that is also a banking client of that firm, that stock has underperformed the market in the following year.
