Heinz, do not underestimate the power of pension funds and insurance companies. They are the waste basket of excess liquidity and debt.

My point is that as long as those institutions are soaking up money and the economy grows with relative full employement the tricks work.

Further in many countries the stock markets are the economy or a big part of it similar to industry so most CB's will inflate to shore up both.

Only Shrub and his Arab fellows can spoil the party, hopefully the Congress will not let him do it.

IMHO first his BS during the republican convention, with puting part of SSecurity money in the stock market prolonged the halucination, then after the election the idiot started to talk down the economy which was already weakening to look presidential ....... and the rest is history.
