Agreed that intelligence is genetic. My point is that the "average" intelligent student has not been able to
garner the knowledge he needs to excel in the real world for a variety of reasons. Among them are the failure of parents to teach fundamental schooling to pre-k kids and
the lack of discipline taught at home brought into the classroom. The basic lack of parenting brought about by the two-income premise in most households throughout the last three decades have had an insidious,detrimental effect on the functioning of the educational system. The result has been a decline in the ability of teachers to be able to teach to an ever increasing disfunctional group of students.
