you're comparing the NAZ to the NYSE a/d line?

check this (load and read the attached paper on the a/d line...very interesting conclusion regarding the likely stopping point of the supercycle bear and how that can be inferred from the a/d line).

note btw. that the improving a/d line also means that the percentage of overbought stocks has risen.
