A few weeks ago, when QCOM was in the $85 range, I saw a piece that recommended selling or shorting based on an emerging head and shoulders pattern. At the time, I decided to ignore the call and stayed very long. Long term, I'm still quite comfortable with QCOM as an investment, but it looks like their TA call was right on. The chart now looks like we're in the completion phase of an almost perfect H&S. I see a great deal of support at $62, and I'll be buying more if we get there.

Question that is being played out by management at the big brokerage firms "If we aren't making money on the investment banking side and margin income has dried up how are we going to keep paying those idiot anal-ists their huge salaries/bonuses."

Their answer: "Hey, how about we get our anal-ists to start making some money for the firm by making idiotic calls on stocks we would love to own cheap."
