Spirit, I'm a bull just like you, and the worst may be behind you, but we all have to figure out a way to make our invested money go UP in the next 6 months to a year. That is more difficult than saying the "worst" is behind us. Many stocks have been stuck in trading ranges for a long time, and could remain that way for a long time. Currently experiencing my own forms of indigestion over recent news......just took a look last night at year-end statement from mutual funds and my IRA.....yuck. Just got more indigestion listening to a local stock guru saying (in effect) "Yippee.....that overvalued GE stock is FINALLY breaking down." In other words, it's way too early to buy GE, according to him.
