1) compelling
2) misplaced
3) misunderstood
4) None of the above

Jake, fully agree with you. JDSU's business growth and fundamentals aren't the biggest factors driving the stock right now. It's what the market is willing to pay for them that's been driving the stock lower. Market will have to have to decide one of two things before JDSU can move and stay higher. Either it will have to increase the amount it's willing to pay for current and future growth and/or it will have to conclude that fears of slowing growth are unfounded. Neither looks set to happen soon. The desire to pay more for fast growing co's generally happens in fast rising, buoyant markets like we had a year ago. And, with key CSCO not saying what the market wants to hear, it doesn't look like the fears of slowing growth are proven wrong yet.

JDSU may see a few oversold rallies but people will sell into them until the growth picture stabilizes.
