They're wasting a lot of effort trying to save Crisco, but to no avail. It's gonna get flushed down the toilet this afternoon unless the PPT saved a truckload of patriot missles for the attack.

no problem. it'll never make it into any official statistic, unless it goes down. when it goes up, the crafty statisticians at the BLS simply use the price it "should be at" or is "normally at" at this time of the year. problem solved.

you should try to pay at the gas station with hedonically deflated dollars...see what they say.
