PENN YAN, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 10, 2001--SkyGivers
(OTCBB:SKGV) today named David Starr, Chief Information Officer of
3Com Corporation (Nasdaq:COMS), to the position of Chairman of the
Company's Technology Advisory Board.
In his position, he will provide counsel to SkyGivers on all
technology decisions.
Starr is one the world's foremost experts in information
technology. As CIO of 3Com and Knight-Ridder (NYSE:KRI), he became the
only person to win the prestigious number one spot for an IT
organization in the Information Week 500 listing in 1998 and 2000. He
has advised both President Clinton and former President Bush on
information technology and security.
As CIO of 3Com, he heads an organization with more than 800
employees in 42 countries. He has implemented 3Com's eBusiness
infrastructure as well as developing IT organizations for the Palm
(Nasdaq:PALM) and U.S. Robotics spin-offs. Prior to joining 3Com in
1999, Starr served as CIO at Knight Ridder, Reader's Digest
(NYSE:RDA), ITT (NYSE:ITT) and Citicorp (NYSE:CIH-A.)
