O/T Diamonds have an ugly side, as I am sure that you are aware, based on where they were mined. No one can really be sure that the diamonds they are wearing did not come from some African hellhole rife with the brutality of a civil war. The images of children with their arms hacked off by a rebel army, funded by the proceeds of the local underground diamond trade, are beginning to sway public opinion toward buying a diamond, much like the a negative sentiment that developed towards wearing furs by many who were turned off by the various images of bloodied animals.
This will work to moissanite's advantage if the sentiment takes hold.
