<May I ask if you ever considered that option and what you think about it?> I had all my belongings packed the night before the announcement of the lottery results for the draft and I was leaving immediately if I was called for duty. I'm an individual who thinks for myself and as far as I'm concerned my social contract with the ruling powers of this country would have been broken if they drafted me. I cannot judge what your friend did nor those who chose to serve.
