I used to do those.....
just got back from a 2 hour lunch meeting

Then a Bell Atlantic Salesman took me to the Super Bowl in 1991. I was laid off the Friday after the Game, evidently I was not supposed to accept such a trip. I was supposed to be on call (for free) in the middle of the night, on weekends, supposed to leave my wife to care for our infant children for weekly trips out West on business at the drop of a hat.

But taking a trip to the Sombrero and using vacation time was unacceptable.

God, how I wish he had taken me in 1987. Or 1969 for that matter. God, other than my family not working for other people was the most amazing gift I have had since I've been out of college.

I could still be there if it was not for that trip. The thought stuns me.

One of the reasons I want my son to work for me first. Working for a corporation is a device straight out of the Depression. People get used to the dole and they become slaves to it.

Uh, I'm ranting therefore it must be Wednesday. See you later after I chill out.
