Thanks r.edwards, I really appreciate your post. It confirms all that we have been projecting here.

MCI's statement at the conf. confirms that they are shifting resources to optics/ I projected a while ago, that MCI's dumping of WCOM, showed their willingness to canniblelize themselves, inordered to keep building for the optical future.

From a long term investment point of view, I really can't think of any sector, I would rather be in right now.

Yes even after all this correcting, valuations are still high, by traditional stds., but earnings will be rising more and more, as we go forward, and the mkt. is huge. I predict that in a years time, this will be the one area of the high tech economy, that will meet investors expectations for 21 century high tech. returns.

We are in a long campaign, to upgrade the world information infrastructure. Companys like Avanex are providing the technology. We need to exercise patients and give these new high tech co.s time to build their businesses. I realize this is a new concept for people that are used to immediate results.

However this is our function in this picture, to provide stability and by supporting the stock ong term.

If we get a large unexpected pull back, for some reason, I will use that as an opportunity increase my position to larger levels.

Companies like Avanex are going to change are world with 21 century George Jetson technology. The lucky investors that take this ride all the way, will reap life altering returns. Take care, the future is now, shaw
