i was referring to gold...the black box commodity funds are heavily short there, and got even shorter today. i believe there's a good chance that it will soon make an exhaustion gap and reverse...gold stocks are not confirming the new contract lows.

and yes, i saw JPM...imo the banks still represent great targets.i'm aware it hasn't really worked out thus far, but i'm reminded of the final rallies in stocks like INTC, MU, ORCL, etc. when it was ALREADY clear that fundamentals would deteriorate...

Was bored in a meeting today and this happened.

Across the chasm the bulls knelt in piteous supplication,
"Allan, hear our cry. Inflation subsides, make money descend from the sky!"

One surprise cut was followed by another, the printing presses turned on, and shorts ran for cover.
Stubborn elves by his side, a legion of clowns behind,
The cheif jester seemed triumphant as the markets began to climb.

Cubs put down their goldschlager and looked on in earnest
While elder bears inside the den began a refrain
"The virtuous cycle is over, speculation will not the gdp sustain!"

Observant clowns twitched their red rubber noses
when after rate cuts, OPEC shut off the hoses.
"'Tis strange", they mused softly to themselves

"Lets visit the bear camp for a little while,
I'm tired of wearing this ugly false smile."
So in the morrow a small band set out
To see what all the singing wuz about
And as they crossed the chasm and looked over their shoulder
They saw a mass of clowns, bulls, and elves, picking their noses.

"Where you going, you big sissy?" cried one of the insiders,
while lacing up his running shoes and flexing his hindquarters.

"You'll not know, and you'll not care.
Stay where you are, please don't follow me here.
Evil lies there, and gold to boot!
You don't want to go there, you want to stay put."

A few, none-the-less were curious...

I'll finish it accordingly.

Picasso was at work today, no doubt.
