So you're saying that under Reagan people stopped concluding that the government should resolve things? I don't know if any people changed their minds about the government role or not. Perhaps some did. What I concluded was that those who expect the government to resolve things just quit talking about it or putting it in letters to the Post because they realized it wasn't going to get them anywhere in that climate. It seems a reasonable conclusion to me, but I have no way to validate it. Karen
