(stock: MSFT), Cisco Corp. (stock: CSCO), Dell Computer Corp. (stock: DELL), Oracle Corp. (stock: ORCL), and EMC Corp. (stock: EMC). HP came in 16th with 904 patents, Intel 19th with 797, Microsoft 45th with 344, and Compaq Computer Corp.
