I was guessing you prefer the arrival. Most of my memories include the disappointment that the adventure ended when the destination is reached. I bet you even believe in happy endings.

I hate it when I get to the end of a good book or the end of a good movie (unless I am really tired).

One exception: I was drug to "Miss Congeniality" last weekend by my Wife and three daughters. By the end of the movie, I was hysterically laughing to tears running down my face like crazy, I couldn't talk for about five minutes after the end. My kids were laughing too but not at the movie (they had never seen me behave this way). I am not sure why it effected me so strongly. I am starting to chuckle again just thinking about it. If you see it, let me know your reaction.
