Randy: "Long term, Yahoo has an impressive audience to sell to". Perhaps that will work out for them eventually. But until they can prove it, the market seems likely to price yhoo accordingly with a low multiple on low profits. After they have achieved a few quarters of spectacular growth, they could re-earn a premium to the market. It seems likely that yhoo will be dead money at best -- should be able to pick it up at a discount to the market later on if you really want to own it for the long term. Good luck.

Yahoo has an impressive audience to sell to -- now they clearly have to start selling (end user services) to grow.

Randy,

Do you believe Yahoo can eventually charge a small fee for their services? I own no Yahoo but may take a long position tomorrow based on it selling down at least in the AM.
