With the evidence that the VIX is not acting as it has in the past at major market bottoms, I decided to look deeper into why the VIX may be acting abnormally over the past several months. B. Schaeffer Schaeffer might just consider the possibility that the market is not near a major bottom just yet! Current valuations mark this as the 2nd most overvalued market in history. According to the Comstock Partners, only the Spring 2000 market was more richly valued. 1929 and 1987 were cheap in comparison.
