I saw Wellstone on the news tonight. He's going to be causing a fuss in Washington because our NG prices are up 40%.

It's only because big energy companies are creeping all over the world. Peons in Latin America will be getting passed on the Cali costs if REI gets stiffed.

Still seems rather confined to me, but who knows -- all forest fires have small beginnings. Certainly, I agree with those who point to the high levels of debt and the susceptibility of the economy as a whole to "cascading" effects ...

In my work I am trying to decide how much variability to assume for NG prices for the next few months. Qualitatively, as I look at futures prices and when they settle -- the further out you go there would seem to be a larger liklihood of the futures predicting a wrong price, but there is also seasonality to consider ...
