On top of their bird eating I am allergic to them. I know I have as much chance of turning you into a cat lover as you have of turning me into a movie buff, so I won't try. However, maybe I can mitigate your contempt for them a bit by assuring you, as someone who has gone many rounds with the animal welfare and animal rescue folks, that no reputable cat agency will allow a cat to be adopted by someone who doesn't promise, in writing, to keep the cat indoors for the welfare of the cat as well as that of the birds.
