Gus. The main proponent of Win95 use at Boeing has retired. This unbalances the powers between NT proponents and the Windows people. The main influence of Bill Engles has been the Power Point software for presentations and the word processing in Windows. The work stations are a messy mix of NT and Unix based data bases that are not quite compatable so are inefficient. At what seems to be your area, EMC has been settled on as the standard for the company and all other systems are being adjusted to interface well with the EMC boxes. The EMC workers here in Puget Sound are really breaking their butts to complete this order and keep up with everything else. Do wish I had more understanding of the equipment, but am a good listener to friends that do speak the talk.
