I have a question regarding computing power. Its getting to be time for me to purchase a new computer. Which is a faster processor, the P4 or the G4? The G4 is rated at 500MHz but its 128 bit as opposed to 1.4GHz but 64 bit.

Don't read anything into the above(I'm long INTC) but I want to get a top notch puter to last me another 5 years. This P1 166 is a little "long in the tooth".

I'm not sure what you are getting at. In my message I said that the energy problem could be resolved by businesses taking advantage of workers using the Internet. I am designing a microprocessor completely over the Internet. All of my coworkers are 1200 miles away. I have not had any voice or visual communication with them in over a month.
