Jim, thanks for pointing this out...i agree it's dangerous to short tech right here and now. but i think longs have to be extremely careful too...sentiment is WAY too bullish...Investors Intelligence bulls are at a new 52 week high if you can believe that...and the Rydex ratio is only 0,04 below it's all time low from the March peak. the FF poll had two weeks (not consecutive, but broken by one week of higher readings) sporting the second and third lowest bear percentage readings of the entire year. the 10-dma of the OEX put/call ratio recently hit an ALL time low..i think that was yesterday.
so the problem is, everybody's looking up.
maybe a rotation into tech and out of the Dow is coming? because i sure did get a usually very reliable buy signal for the NDX that points to a good sized rally over the next week or so.
