I would guess he just wants to sit back and watch the end of the movie, like me. Even though I already know the eventual ending, I am enjoying the comedy of the crime before the drama of the predictable yet entertaining demise of the criminals.

Come on Francois, it's the same on the good guys side as it is over on the crim side you play, what makes the public is only a small sliver, all the really interesting stuff happens in private. The silence seems to be worrying you. It probably should.
