Aside from the fact that they are clueless regarding what the problem REALLY is or how to fix it??? (Can you say pink slips to start with??? might help!!!)

Keeping in mind how little I know about computers..I would have taken it to mean that your system cannot be logged on to SI while you clear your cookies....As in if you are purging your cookies, yet remain logged into SI at that time...it is not going to help the problem...

Tom, he seems to be saying non members do not have this problem when they are viewing the posts. I tried logging out and then viewing this thread. It went MUCH faster, but I still got two error screens. Ah, the good old days were different...

I interpret that post the same way you do. Makes sense I guess. If none of us are logged in, then there are no new messages for their system to contend with. I would guess that the system and software probably would be able to handle that.

Of course there would clearly be no reason for any of us to be here under that scenario either.
