Sure, that's the way it goes! If I don't like JDSU or NT, I must be one of those nasty shorts, I must be working for Cramer, or I've got some agenda! Heck, I'm surprised you didn't finger me as being Cramer himself! Did you ever stop to think that maybe I just don't agree with your constant TOUTING of your long position in JDSU given that the stock has been more than cut in half and you still make the same BS excuses for why the whole world seems to be picking on your poor little company?????? Of course my thinking is along the lines of what's been said on thestreet.com because I have agreed with what they have been saying for several months. I spend all day involved with the markets, researching, reading, trading, etc. I made my decision to sell my most of my NT and JDSU this summer because I try as hard as I can to keep an open mind and I have learned to remember the difference between stock fundamentals and company fundamentals. The fundamentals for the STOCK (ie - overvaluation, deteriorating chart, heavy ownership by short-term traders and flippers, and shrinking desire to pay high multiples) were getting weaker. Throw in questions TSC and others like Lehman's bond analyst were raising about slowing growth and a credit crunch and you had a pile of risk. Now, other than the fact the stock is cheaper and borrowing is a little easier, not much has changed. You want my so-called agenda, here it is: Take the other side of your bogus, money losing argument as long as the risks in JDSU remain as they do. Why? I am simply confident that based on what I have read and my feel for the market, there are much better stocks to own until the smoke clears. I want to buy JDSU lower than where it is now!!! You see, I want to avoid losses so i can buy more shares when the time comes. You are trying to make money by touting your long position. There's no difference. We're both trying to make money here, that's all. Cut the bogus insinuations! As for thestreet.com, you either haven't taken the time to read them (there are some other guys there that write better than Cramer), or you just don't like the message.
