EIX seems like the stronger of the two companies. I'm no expert on reading their financials, but that's my opinion.

I read today in the WSJ that PG&E's monies owed to electricity suppliers exceeds their stockholders equity...

So, I'm cooling off both PCG and EIX for a bit.
