and that is why we are a democratic republic based on a constitution, because the majority can be a tyranny just as much as a dictatorship or monarchy or whatever.

If the majority decides that society would be better off without the jews or hispanics, do you think we should get rid of them? or should we pay attention to the constitution that says that we can't take their rights away from them?
