TP-Tax cuts actually result in increased net taxes collected. You'll have to get past the headlines during the Reagan era to see that this is true. All they have to do now in California is deregulate retail pricing. Apply the basic laws of supply and demand to pricing and, voila, problem solved. I am unclear on how deregulation relates to the shortage of power? Enactment of deregulation laws has nothing to do with the fact that no power plants were built for at least 10 years. It would seem that there would still be a shortage of power, deregulation or not. We should get back to JDSU. Rx
