Seldom, But Microsoft did not sell Windows as a completed product. It has to run on PCs. Using that criterion, there are very, very few complete products in the computer world and thus, very few companies selling them. That brings me to the conclusion that you're right but I have to wonder why it's important, considering such a restrictive criterion. By the way, the nit-picker in me compells me to mention that you're describing a stand-alone product as opposed to a complete product. :) --Mike Buckley
