"ability" is something completely different than "right". Because the powerful have the ability does not mean that they have the right. I believe in the rights of the individual and that it is in the best interest of society to avoid a government that is given enough power to suppress those individual rights. And every time that we give the government one of our hard earned dollars to perform some function, we are giving up some of our rights and giving the government power over us. I am not an anarchist, but I do believe that the government should be limited so that they do not have the "ability" to discipline me for protecting my inalienable rights.
